The Field Operations Technician must ensure continuity and effective technical operations of client facilities across the country, including the technical implementation of broadcast transmission infrastructure and services.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Ensure transmission service continuity for our client Shareholder and client services, primarily but not exclusively, in
- South Australia and Western Australia, through prompt incident response and management,
- Delivery of projects across the country, as directed by the ROM or delegate, ensuring projects remain within the assigned budget,
- Undertake as direct by the ROM or delegate;
- routine monitoring and performance testing,
- routine maintenance,
- other duties as directed by the ROM
- Availability for regular on call duty for 24×7 fault restoration,
- Update all maintenance tasks, projects, incidents, changes and problems and provide timely reports utilising our client’s workflow platform
- Experience in Broadcast / Communications engineering sector,
- Experience in high power broadcast transmission, RF systems, digital television and FM fundamentals and network management systems,
- IT network security & system operation experience desirable,
